Complete your colour analysis

Thank you for booking your Luma Online Colour Analysis.

To complete your analysis, I’ll need a little information about you, along with a small selection of photographs taken in natural daylight.

There’s no need to do this immediately. Take your time and wait until you have suitable daylight to take your photographs. You can return to this page using the link in your confirmation email.

Before you begin

Photographs you'll need

Please take:

• One front-facing photograph with your hair visible.

• One front-facing photograph with your hair covered by plain white fabric, if your hair is currently coloured.

• One clear close-up photograph of one eye, showing your natural eye colour and pattern.

• One older photograph showing your natural hair colour, if your current hair colour is different and you have one available.

How to take your photographs

• For your new photographs:

  • Take them in natural daylight, ideally facing a window. Avoid direct sunlight.

  • Choose a plain white or light-coloured background.

  • Please wear a white top, or have bare shoulders.

  • Remove all makeup, jewellery and glasses.

  • Do not use flash, filters or image enhancement.

  • Make sure your photographs are sharp and in focus.

Getting the best face shots

• Look directly at the camera with your head straight.

• Include your face, neck and shoulders.

• Keep the lighting even across your face, without strong shadows.

If your hair is coloured

If your current hair colour is different from your natural colour, please take one of your photographs with your hair completely covered by a plain white scarf or other plain white fabric. This helps prevent your current hair colour from influencing the analysis.
