About Luma.
Luma was created to make professional colour analysis practical, approachable and easy to understand.
What began as a personal search to understand why colour analysis sometimes felt inconsistent, grew into years of learning, teaching and eventually professional training.
Colour has been a constant throughout my career. During my 15 years teaching within the School of Design at RMIT University, colour formed an important part of the subjects I taught, alongside other areas of visual communication and design. As an artist, I've also spent years exploring how colour influences mood, harmony and perception.
Wanting to apply that knowledge in a more personal and practical way led me to train as a Certified Colour Consultant, combining my background in design, education and art with professional colour analysis.
Every analysis is completed personally by me. I assess your undertone, value, chroma and contrast before preparing a personalised report that explains not only which colours suit you, but why they work and how to wear them with confidence.
